Privacy Policy

What we collect

This website is a marketing site for Mission Outdoor Living, a design-and-build outdoor-living contractor based in Maple Valley and serving King and Pierce County, Washington. We collect only what you choose to send us.

When you fill in a project request form, we ask for:

• your name, phone number and email address;
• the property address (city and street) for the project;
• your project type and a description of what you want;
• optional details such as desired timing, preferred way to be contacted and how you heard about us;
• optional photos you upload; and
• optional product or material links and notes from our Materials page.

Please do not include sensitive information such as financial account numbers or government ID numbers in a form, photo or note.

How we use it and where it goes

We use your request to respond to you, assess your property, prepare design direction and a written proposal, and run your project if you hire us. We do not sell your personal information.

Requests are sent to the job-management system the business uses, Jobber, where they are stored as a client record and a new request. Jobber is a separate company with its own privacy practices. We may also share information with people who help us do the work you ask for, such as suppliers, subcontractors, and payment or insurance providers, only as needed for your project, or where the law requires it.

Saved material links are kept in your browser tab (see Cookies and similar technology) until you send a request; they reach us only when you submit one.

Cookies, analytics and third parties

We do not currently use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or analytics tools on this site. The browser storage we use is limited to essential functions: for example, your browser's session storage holds the form answers and material links you entered so they carry over between pages during your visit. That data stays in your browser and is cleared when you close the tab. If we add analytics or advertising tools later, we will update this page first.

Some features load from other companies, which can receive your IP address and basic browser details when the page loads:

• Google Fonts. The site's typeface is loaded from Google's servers.
• Lenis. The smooth-scrolling library is loaded from a public content delivery network.
• Jobber. If the Jobber request form is embedded on a page, it is loaded from Jobber.

Links to supplier and manufacturer sites on our Materials page open in a new tab. Those sites are outside our control and have their own privacy policies.

How long we keep information

We keep project requests and related records for as long as we need them to respond to you, carry out a project and meet tax, insurance and legal record-keeping needs. Your choices

You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it or delete it, or stop contacting you. If you uploaded photos or links and want them removed, tell us and we will remove them from our records, subject to anything we must keep by law.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information you send, but no website or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This site is for adults planning work on a property. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date at the top.
